Super Junior honored with three awards by the 2011 Mashable Awards







Super Junior‘s rule on fans’ heart is not enough that these guys are now ruling the Social networking sites also.
Recently, Mashable website released it’s winners list of ‘2011 Mashable Awards‘,the award’s winning is based on two months voting by it community and depends on the nominees’ popularity on social networking sites.
In the relvealed winners Super Junior has won three catogries viz “Must Follow Musician or Band on Social Network” ,’Mr Simple‘ got the title of “Viral Video of the Year” and Super Junior’s game won the “Best Mobile Game”

KARA’s “Super Girl” tops the Oricon Album Weekly Chart



KARA’s second album Super Girl, released a month ago, topped the Oricon Album Weekly Chart again.
KARA’s Super Girl, released on November 18 on online music websites, topped the Oricon Daily Chart and Weekly Chart again although it’s been a month since it was first released. The accumulated album sales of KARA’s are over 450,000, and the total shipments are over 650,000.
KARA topped the Oricon Album Weekly Chart without any special sales promotion. It proves that KARA’s popularity is still strong in Japan.
The exhibition of KARA’s costumes, pictures, messages, and videos, taking place in Nagoya and Sapporo, is very popular, as well.
According to the 44th annual rankings of 2011 (December 27, 2010~December 19, 2011), announced by the Oricon, KARA has recorded 4.93 billion yen (about 73.2 billion won) in sales of CD and DVD.
KARA members are having individual activities such as TV variety show, musical, and drama. They are also making a guest appearance in NHK’s Red and White Song Battle, an annual music show on New Year’s Eve in Japan.

Wonder Girls’ Yu Bin takes a unique pictorial

Wonder Girls’ Yu Bin recently transformed into a doll.
Yu Bin took a pictorial for the January edition of the fashion magazine, Dazed & Confused, and showed off her mature look.
For the pictorial, Yu Bin performed like a girl who made a forced landing on the Earth. She wore a variety of clothes and posed with a unique concept.
Yu Bin’s unconventional hairstyle and colorful makeup complemented powerful image of the pictorial. She looks like a real fashion model.
Yu Bin says, “Many people think that Wonder Girls like retro style. So we wanted to show a different side of us which is mature and artistic. I’m very interested in pictures and artworks so I really wanted to work with Dazed & Confused.”
Yu Bin’s pictorial will be included in the January edition of the magazine.

New group F.I.X attracts 75,000 hits on its teaser

The teaser music video of “Please Don’t Say” of a new singing group, F.I.X, is finally released. It has been a hot issue because of the appearance of Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, for the first time as an actor. The Groove Entertainment, the agency of F.I.X, released it on the official channel on YouTube and on Facebook, announcing the countdown for the group’s debut.
Eunhyuk projects said, desperate emotions in the teaser, and Hallyu fans around the world, as well as netizens in Korea, keep on praising his acting.
In addition, over 70,000 fans around the world accessed to the video as soon as it was released on YouTube and Facebook, showing the group’s tremendous popularity.
Eunhyuk said, “I decided to appear on F.I.X’s music video because I’ve known its members for a long time. Also, I gave them as much advices as I could as a singer with more experience.” The female character in the teaser, who drew attention by shooting a kissing scene with Eunhyuk, is revealed to be Jang Ji Eun who is currently acting the queen in SBS’s drama series The Deep Rooted Tree.
The new group F.I.X is composed of four members of great skills: First, the leader Sung Woo, who has many experiences of dancing and featuring on other singers’ songs by rapping; Noori, the singer of the title song of MBN’s first drama series It Came, It Came For Real; Oh Song, who has been a vocal of a rock band; and finally, Jung Wook, who sang the sound track A Heart for KBS’s drama series Ojakgyo Brothers.
