Seoul, Korea – B2ST, who are preparing for their Japanese debut, had to stop showing their music video due to problems with the electronic displays.
B2ST had planned to show the music video for their Japanese debut single “SHOCK (Japanese ver.)” on big electronic displays in five big cities such as Tokyo and Shibuya.
However, due to numerous questions on security from fans to the Shibuya Police Department, the planned showings were cancelled over safety concerns.
At 5:30 p.m. the electronic displays were supposed to start showing the music video, and it was expected that about 3000 people would show up to view the screening. Similar prospects were expected for Tokyo, Sapporo, Nagoya, and Osaka.
Instead, B2ST were able to show their Japanese fans their new music video through Youtube.
During the reporter’s meeting at B2ST’s previous encore concert, B2ST said, “We plan on not just succeeding in Japan but to have an Asian Tour Concert to become a recognized Korean idol.”
Meanwhile, B2ST is set to release their first Japanese single, “SHOCK” on March 16 and have begun preparations for the release.
